Internal funding opportunities are institution-specific and added by administrators. They are visible only to users within your institution.
These opportunities appear in user searches alongside external ones and can be tracked and curated like any other. Users can filter for internal opportunities under the Home icon or the Funding Tab.
Administrators can add internal funding opportunities in Admin > Tools > Manage Internal Opportunities within Pivot-RP.
This page lists all internal funding opportunities at your institution, including those you added. You can create new opportunities and edit or delete your own. When adding an opportunity, you may keep it as a draft until you publish it.
Steps to Add an Internal Funding Opportunity
Step 1: In Is this for your institution only?, select Yes.
Step 2: Complete the required fields describing the opportunity and its requirements. Use on-screen help for details.
- Title: Make it clear and descriptive for search results.
- Funder: Usually leave unchanged.
- Award Type
- Amount / Amount Upper / Estimated Total / ISO Currency
- Amount Note: Add any additional details about the amount
- Citizenship: If no restrictions, select Unrestricted or Unspecified.
- Activity Location: Select country or region, if no restrictions, select Unrestricted
- Eligibility: Enter eligibility description
- Applicant Type
- Career Stage: Choose relevant stages (e.g., Early Career, Graduate Student, Mid-Career, Undergraduate, Not Applicable).
- Abstract: Add abstract text
- Keywords: Required for inclusion in Advisor alerts.
- Deadlines:
- Add one or more dates or select Continuous if no fixed deadline.
- Choose deadline type (e.g. application, letter of intent, proposal).
- Add deadline description
- Contact: Enter details for internal contact person.
- External ID
- URL
- Co-owners: Add colleagues with admin rights; they will have full editing privileges.
Step 3: Choose whether to Publish immediately or Save as Draft.
